The Warrington Wolves were established in 1879 and are the fourth most successful Super League Club in history when it comes to Challenge Cup Premierships. They were one of the foundation clubs to establish the Northern Football Rugby Union, the first rugby league competition in the UK and have a strong and proud history within the code.

In 2010 they moved to a state of the art training site with a range of facilities that provides the team with a Centre of Excellence. They beat Leeds to take home the Challenge Cup in 2010 and finished the Super League season in 3rd. In 2011 head coach Tony Smith will look to his experienced captain to again lead the team into the Challenge Cup and Super League finals with the aim of more success.
