Warrington has a proud rugby league heritage. The club has progressed enormously from it's humble beginnings in 1879 where players had to walk 100 yards from their "headquarters" in a town centre pub to the pitch they played on.

With the fantastic facilities of the Halliwell Jones Stadium the fanatical support and a talented squad who are prepared to play an exciting brand of rugby league, Warrington Wolves are now a major force in professional rugby league proving this by winning the 2009 Carnegie Challenge Cup against Huddersfield.

Some past Warrington greats inducted in to the Hall of Fame include Jackie Fish, Tommy Thompson, Eric Fraser, Brian Bevan and Albert Johnson.
