The Queensland Reds are one of four Super 14 Rugby Union teams based in Australia, and on of the original three Australian teams that participated in the competition in it's years as the Super 12.
The Reds despite finishing minor premiers in 1996 and 1999 have never reached the Super 14 finals.
The Reds play most of their home matches in Ballymore and are currently quite a young team and their current captain is James Horwill.
