Geelong Football Club was established in July 1859 and is renowned as the co-founder of Australian Football being the second oldest club in the league.
Geelong has a proud history, having won eight AFL premierships in its history. The Cats tasted success in 1925, 1931, 1937, 1951, 1952, 1963, 2007 and 2009.
2010 was another great season for the Club, missing out on a fourth consecutive Grand Final appearance by one win.
Chris Scott will lead the charge for the 2011 season as the new coach with senior players Cameron Ling, Jimmy Bartel and Paul Chapman aiming to prove that Geelong are still an AFL powerhouse.
